Heavily inspired by our 1976 Innsbruck Olympics sweater, the Elis wool sweater is a sporty, loose-fitting oversized sweater with a shortened length. It is slightly longer in the back and has dropped shoulders and a high neckline with a half zipper. The Elis sweater is made of 100% lightweight wool. For added comfort, the neckline is lined with skin-soft merino wool.
A revolutionary new wool treatment with natural, non-toxic salts makes this wool sweater soft and machine washable.
Elis is named after a Greek region that is home to the city of Olympia, famous for the ancient Olympic Games. Several design elements from our sweater from the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics are incorporated directly into the design.
